Although I did not have surgery for my Spinal Stenosis under the excellent care of Dr. Ruben Cárdenas, I had been an out-patient of his for months, being guided by his knowledge and skill through a series of physiotherapy, medication and spinal injections.
I am so grateful that we tried the less invasive steps before it was decided that surgery was the logical route to follow. We continued to keep in contact with Dr. Cárdenas advising me of the preparatory steps to take prior to surgery.
Somewhere along the period of Dr. Cardenas's pre surgical guidance, his instructions, patience and knowledge were rewarded, for which I am extremely grateful.
Two weeks prior to the scheduled surgery, the pain in my left thigh stopped! Suddenly and completely.
It has been six months since the pain left me. I continue with modified medication and greatly modified physiotherapy, and I continue occasional contact with Dr. Cárdenas should my condition change.
I am most sincerely convinced the good doctor returned my glad life to me again.
